Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data may be collected when people use the Interview Assistant website, desktop app, license activation, support, and related services.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

What data may be collected

Interview Assistant may collect data needed to operate the product, such as website requests, language preference, support messages, email addresses used for support or license activation, license and activation records, app version, operating system, installation identifiers, diagnostic reports, and subscription event data.

Website analytics and server logs

The website and server infrastructure may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, request URL, browser user agent, timestamp, referrer, status code, and security or error events. These logs help operate the website, investigate abuse, and diagnose problems.

License activation data

License activation may use the purchase email, license key, license id, subscription status, activated device information, app version, and signed license status so the desktop app can unlock paid features and enforce activation limits.

Payment-provider processing

Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Interview Assistant does not directly store full payment card details. The payment provider may process payment information, billing details, invoices, taxes, fraud checks, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and customer billing support according to its own terms and privacy notices.

Email, contact, and support data

If a user contacts support or subscribes to release notifications, Interview Assistant may store the submitted email address, message content, topic, language, support context, and unsubscribe or notification status.

Crash, error, and diagnostic data

If the desktop app sends a crash, error, or diagnostic report, the report may include technical logs, app version, operating system version, error details, diagnostic information, installation id, license id, and optional user comments. Diagnostic reports are used to investigate bugs and improve reliability.

Cookies and language preference

When a user selects a site language, the website stores that choice in the siteLang cookie so future visits can open in the selected language. The site may also use security, session, or infrastructure cookies if required for forms, admin tools, or service operation.

Data retention

Data is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for product operation, licensing, payment records, legal or tax obligations, security, support, diagnostics, and abuse prevention. Exact retention periods may vary by data type and operational need.

User rights and contact

Users can contact support to request access, correction, review, or deletion of information connected to their email, license, activation, support request, diagnostic report, or installation id, subject to legal and operational limits. Contact us through サポート.
